About

Dr. Tia Niedjalski DPS, MN.

I am a nurse, clinical ethicist, educator, and healthcare leader with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare.

My career has included perinatal and public health nursing, healthcare leadership, professional education, and clinical ethics. Across these roles, I have developed a particular interest in complex situations where clinical care, individual values, professional responsibilities, relationships, and broader healthcare systems intersect.

I hold a Master of Nursing and a Doctor of Professional Studies in Bioethics with a concentration in Clinical Ethics through the Alden March Bioethics Institute. My doctoral work focused on developing a practical ethical framework to support clinicians caring for pregnant individuals who use substances.

I now bring together my experience in clinical practice, leadership, education, and ethics to help healthcare professionals and organizations approach difficult questions with greater clarity, curiosity, and confidence.
